INspire Cafe Expands with New Coffee Cart at Medford Public Library – Opening June 18th, 2025
Medford Public Library on Wednesday, June 18th, 2025. Located on the second floor next to the
Children’s Section, the cart will be open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, offering
a variety of drinks, bakery and snack items to library visitors.
The new location comes as a continuation of the mission-driven legacy of Chapters, the previous
operators of the coffee cart. Chapters, known for its community-focused values and inclusive employment
practices, collaborated with INspire to continue the operations of the cart to carry on its vision and expand
its impact. INspire Cafe is honored to keep that mission moving forward to provide meaningful
employment opportunities for individuals with diverse abilities. Like other INspire programs, this initiative
in Medford will aim to foster skills, confidence, personal growth and independence for employees.
“Chapters created something special at the Medford Library, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to build
on that foundation,” said Tara Kelly, Director of INspire Cafe. “We’re excited to bring our values, energy,
and a delicious menu to the Medford community.”
The cart will serve:
● Hot Coffee, Iced Coffee, and Cold Brew
● Iced and Hot Teas
● Muffins
● Yogurt & Granola Cups
● Hummus and Charcuterie Plates
● Cookies, Assorted Snacks…and more to come!
The Inspire team will include a mix of returning Chapters staff, current employees from INspire’s
Wakefield cafe, and new team members joining the Inspire community. This collaborative transition
ensures continuity for regular patrons while introducing the INspire Cafe spirit and menu.
The Medford Public Library continues to be a hub for learning, connection, and creativity—now with great
coffee and snacks just steps away.
